Closing event of the seventh edition of our Food Pioneers Program. Come and meet the Pioneers and watch them pitch their product or business to an expert panel. Their products will be on display, so lots of tasting to be done!

This year’s edition of the Food Pioneer Program kicked off on 24 April. During the course of six programme days the participating entrepreneurs have received coaching, training and support with a view to upgrading their business or product.

At this closing event they will be pitching their product or business to a panel of field experts. The audience is welcome to ask them questions and give feedback as well!

As always, we are closing the event off with drinks & snacks where the Pioneers will showcase their products for everyone to taste. You are very welcome to join us this festive afternoon on 16 October! Please be advised that this is an English spoken event.

FlevoCampus

n januari 2017 is de Flevo Campus geopend: dé wetenschappelijke verzamelplek voor innovaties op het gebied van stedelijke voedselvraagstukken voor de toekomst. Onder het dak van de Flevo Campus brengt Almere studenten, onderzoekers en bedrijven samen om te onderzoeken en te testen hoe we voedselvoorziening in groeiende steden kunnen veranderen en vernieuwen. Flevo Campus is een samenwerkingsverband tussen Aeres Hogeschool Almere, Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions (AMS Institute), de Gemeente Almere en de Provincie Flevoland. De stad zelf, maar ook de daaromheen liggende regio speelt daarin een belangrijke rol. Almere met de ligging op het snijvlak van de metropoolregio Amsterdam aan de westkant en het agrarische productielandschap van Flevoland aan de oost- en noordkant is de plek waar deze samenwerking goed getoond maar vooral ook getest kan worden. De Flevo Campus is daarbij de verbinder tussen onderzoek, onderwijs en ondernemen, om te komen tot nieuwe slimme ontwikkelingen
